ASRG Johannesburg, South Africa Meetup: Hack a car. Vehicle Penetration Testing with real cars
Friday, 9 February 2024
7pm – 9pm CEST

In-person event! We will focus on hacking cars and vehicle cyber security.

We will have several areas in which you will be able to do a (somewhat) guided activity.

In-vehicle, live demonstration of Vehicle Penetration testing functions using Vehicle Networks such as CAN Bus and Vehicle Protocols such as UDS and DoIP.

In-person networking with many automotive professionals in attendance.

We’ll have a host of tools for vehicle electronic evaluation such as CAN Bus, Ethernet, and other specialized tools for directly connecting to the vehicle as well as our associates who can assist visitors in using the tools to interrogate our target vehicles.

We will start at 19:00. Free drinks and snacks are arranged. All you have to bring is your laptop and a good sense of humor.

We will close out the meetup at 21:00 but it ends when we’re done hacking!
